Cobalt Interactive is a team of designers, project managers, and installation engineers. From our design and development space in south Birmingham, our work takes us across the country and the globe

The Cobalt team has worked extensively in many countries including Mainland Europe, Bahamas, Singapore, UK and Ireland, plus several Middle Eastern countries including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Our experience has provided a solid understanding of local delivery in this field of specialist technology

While each member of the Cobalt Interactive team has had different experiences prior to joining the business, it is here that we have found our place and developed our specialist skill sets. Our team works closely with regional manufacturers to build our projects. When on site, we also work with a set of trusted and experienced freelance engineers

Cobalt Interactive has been designing and delivering large-scale audio-visual projects for 12 years. Today, we use the latest project management, design, and manufacturing software systems to provide innovative and efficient work for the industry

SAGA Spirit – All mechanical interfacing brackets

We were approached to provide the interfacing designs for all AV equipment on a new SAGA vessel. This included, projectors, sub loudspeakers, equipment racks, video cameras and lighting systems. Partner – Wärtsilä FUNA

USJ, Japan – Attraction projection isolation systems

The team designed and had a prototype manufactured which was tested extensively in house before the final design was completed for manufacture. All parts were sent as kit with comprehensive installation instructions

GENTING GLOBAL – outline, spatial and mechanical design for LED walls, all main audio systems and specialist projection systems

Cobalt has developed all the LED wall engineering as well as the precision mounting required for the loudspeaker system line arrays. Many different iterations are needed to work with all stakeholders to achieve the optimum configurations.

As part of the VIRGIN new build development Cobalt worked with its partners to deliver drawing packages for various different venues. The information ranged for m outline mechanical to detailed head and power requirements
